Travel informations: TRANSFER To travel from Scandinavia to Iceland is easy and it takes only about three hours. You can book a flight either by the two Icelandic airlines: the low budget airline WOW-air or Icelandair that fly every day from the Nordic capitals, OR by SAS and EasyJet. Most participants will probably arrive on Wednesday and leave on Sunday but there are also other possibilities. Icelandair provides night service from Stockholm and Copenhagen with flights arriving in Iceland between 9 and 10 AM. Flights from Iceland leave just after midnight. If you´ll need an assistans in booking flights or other travel arrangements, please contact the arrangegroup. The distance from Keflavík International Airport to Reykjavík is around 55 km and there goes a FLYBUS to Reykjavík in connection with all arriving flights. The Flybus brings passengers to the BSI - Bus Terminal in Reykjavik near to the capital´s centre and offers also a shuttle service to the main hotels in Reykjavík. HOTELS As there will be a lot of tourists in Reykjavík during the summertime we kindly ask you to book a hotel in good advance on the internet, which is the cheapest way. We have NOT reserved rooms especially for the conference so please be careful to book in time. It is called Guesthouse Galtafell, (www.guesthousegaltafell.is) situated in a quiet but central street near the pond (Tjörnin). It is very suitable for those who travel together as the house consists of both double/twin rooms and/or small apartments. The price is also pleasantly surprising...
